Iced Candle Information
Our Iced Candles are crafted from a coconut soy and gel wax blend, layered to get that realistic "iced drink" look β glossy, detailed, and true to the real thing.
Just like the drinks they mimic, they're perishable. Unlike our regular soy candle range, Iced Candles have a shelf life and are best enjoyed within a reasonable time rather than kept as long-term.
Coconut wax is a natural product. Like all natural waxes, it can show characteristics such as frosting, sweating or slight colour variation β this is completely normal and doesn't affect scent or burn quality.
For best results, store in a cool, dry spot out of direct sun and away from heat sources to help the wax and colours hold their look for longer.
Candle Safety Guide
Good things take a little care. Here's how to get the most out of your candle.
- Trim the wick to 6mm before every burn to keep the flame steady and prevent soot.
- On the first burn, let the wax melt right to the edges of the tin or jar β this prevents tunnelling later on.
- Burn for 3β4 hours at a time, max.
- Keep on a stable, heat-safe surface, well away from curtains, drafts, and anything flammable.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Stop burning once there's about 1cm of wax left at the base.
- Extinguish with a snuffer, or gently cup your hand and blow, to avoid hot wax splatter.
